My Platform
Focus areas for my trustee service
01
Staff and Faculty Focus
Indiana University's staff and faculty, including visiting lecturers and graduate students, deliver the world-class education experience for which IU is renown. I want to ensure IU’s workforce has ready access to the resources it needs to flourish, and that academic freedoms are preserved across all campuses.
03
Direct
Engagement
All of IU's stakeholders--including current students, faculty and staff, alumni, and Indiana residents--deserve a say in the university's operations. I am committed to speaking with and on behalf of the IU community.
02
Fearless
Problem-Solving
Trustees must provide innovative responses to the numerous challenges currently facing higher education. I am committed to working with and (when necessary) challenging my fellow trustees and the university administration to ensure IU's campuses do not merely survive, but thrive.
04
Quality Public Education
An affordable, accessible education is not simply an ideal to which institutions like IU must aspire, but a necessity for our community's health, prosperity, and well-being. Trustees must work to remove any barriers for students.
